Finding the individual character of each piece of driftwood is a wonderful experience. This fella looks like it belongs in the ocean and reminds me of a porpoise jumping the waves.
Collected in North Carolina, the cypress driftwood is cleaned, scraped, sanded and waxed to highlight its natural color and unique wood grain. It's a very dark, rich brown color reminiscent of walnut. It is attached to a weighted base to provide stability.
